We had a very Christmas - like and science like day today. In Montbeliard there is one of the greatest and the most beautiful Christmas markets in France. You can see lots of very traditional things like biscuits, dried fruit, cheese, chocolate, souvenirs, decorations, We have seen the REAL Santa Claus on sledges but without deer but with horses. There is another traditional figure in December - TANTE AIRIE (Aunt called Airie). We talked to her and she gave us sweets. We also visited the museum in the castle which was very interesting. We learned much about the greatest French biologist Georges Cuvier.
We walked through a science park called Prés-la-Rose. That was something for our teacher Danica. Danica, what was your favourite thing there?

ReplyDeleteA very good day, the weather was not so good but we have read the sun on pupil's faces.
They have learned about science : Cuvier, his life, his discovery ; Foucault and his pendulum ; how to find a cellphone lost in a labyrinthe (Alexandre don't forget to put your cellphone every time in the same pocket !!), about Christmas tradition of Montbéliard(Tante Airie).
I'm very happy about this day : slovenian and french pupils have shared all the time during the day (walk, play, meal, visit, shopping...), and they have speak between each other.
My favorite thing is when Tante Airie is speaking about her legend and when she give sweets of christmas (papillottes au chocolat) to pupils.
See you on monday morning (8.00 am at the bus stop)
We stand together with Joanna, Zala, Meta, Chloé. We went to all the shops in Montbéliard and bought some things for us and family. we saw the Christmas Market and the Christmas lights.

ReplyDeleteYesterday we visited Christmas market. It was very beautiful. We bought some things for us and our familys. We saw the Santa Claus and Tanta Airie. We walked through a science park and we visited the museum.
We learned about Georges Cuvier. He was French biologist. We saw his house...
At 4.30 me, Charlotte, Lara and Laura visited the shops in Montbeliard. It was great.
And after shopping me and Charlotte went home.
My favourite thing this day was shopping whit Charlotte, Lara and Laura!
It was a good day!

ReplyDeleteyesterday we visited christmas market and we go to "gaziline" shop with alexandre mark katarina and chloé.whit group we visited museum in a castel of montbeliard.
for the dinner katarina ate "macaron"and "cancoilotte"
we wath "lord of the ring" in english of course!!!
and after we go to sleep!!!

ReplyDeleteYesterday we visited the montbéliard's christmas marketn and we discovered somethings about Georges Cuvier.
I think slovene's pupils find this market beautiful ^^
After 16H30, we did shopping with Lara,Evelina and Charlotte. It was great =)
When we are at home, Lara test the traditionnal meat "la raclette" !
And we had compare the french language and the slovene language, two languages are difficult for the grammar...
It was a very good day =)

At 4.30pm, we visited christmas market with zala, meta, chloé & me and we see all the lights: it's so beautiful!!!
We went to some shops and we bought some nice things =D
It was a really good day but after i was so tired ^^

What was my favorite thing in the park Prés-la-Rose? Oh, everything. The Foucault pendulum, the fountain of Galilee, ducks and geese, ant sculpture, sun clock and the solar calendar, ... Oh, everything.

ReplyDeleteIn Friday we visit montbéliard and we going to the Christmas Market. We have bought lot of things and we eat in the High School "Les Huislets" and then we saw tuhe Tante Héri and the Père Noël.
