Afternoon with social games
Since our first exchange we have been practicing an evening or an afternoon with social games as a kind of conclusion of our work throughout the school year.
This year we organised it on Friday, the 28th of May. It is also an opportunitiy to get to know each other better, to see what games are new or popular on the market, to talk and to have fun - teachers and pupils together.
The games we played were: Pictionary, Activity, Halli Galli and the Bedlam Cube.
Here are some photos.
HOPE TO SEE YOU NEXT YEAR IN OUR CLUB!!!

The central school performance and the fair
This Saturday we opened the school doors and have invited all the parents and the families and also some local man of note. At the performance all our choirs sang a song or two and the theatre groups had to opportunity to present their hard work. Most of the younger classes also presented themselves with a song, dance or an act.
After the performance there was a fair of the products, that our pupils made in the past moths and other extra cullicular acctivities presented themselves. eTwinning club had the opportunity to set up a stand with products from Kenya (we were partners in the BEST project) and to tell the audience, what we have achived in this school year.

Happy Birthday eTwinning
Today we celebrated the fifth birthday of eTwinning. We made an eTwinning fruit cake, we decorated yellow and blue ballons and we had a small party at school. The balloons were released into the sky at the end of the party. You can catch a glimpse if you click HERE! Later on we will also post a movie of the preparations and the party. You can find and try out the recipe HERE.

Let's write a story together
I've got an idea. Let's write a story together. Everyone is asked to write one sentence in English in the comments. It isn't necessarily about our exchange. The sentences have to be in the logical order. If you want to write more than one, you have to wait until at least three other sentences appear. I am excited to read our story.
(Tell the others please, to contribute to the story.)

It has been almost a month since we met in Slovenia. The goodbye was hard for all of us and I would like to encourage you to tell us how you keep in touch. I assume, you do. How often? Who with? What tools/programmes/means of communication do you use? What is the main topic of your chat? Have you got any funny stories to share with us?
Looking forward to reading your stories in the comments of this post.

We all agree, we had a wonderful time together and we hope, we will keep in touch. Please use this post and describe your feelings, when you came back home, how was it to meet your family again and how did you schoolmates react to your stories about Slovenia. We are all anxious to read your comments. You can also do a short evaluation and tell us what you liked and what you disliked in the exchange week.
And here the friendship song just for you.

Goodbye moment
Why can't we get all the people together in the world that we really like and then just stay together? I guess that wouldn't work. Someone would leave. Someone always leaves. Then we would have to say good-bye. I hate good-byes. I know what I need. I need more hellos.
(Charles M. Schulz)
This morning we had to separate and say goodbye. Everybody was crying. We hope you had a nice journey back to your dearest families. Write about your day in the comments!
Be well, do good work and keep in touch.

Day 5 in Slovenia
Today we had another exciting episode of our exchange. After a very thrilling bus trip to the hills of Kamnik, we visited the Budnar's museum house and learnt how people lived 200 hundred years ago. Then you became experts at making Easter bouquets, didn't you? Good job everyone!
Before lunch, we visited the smallest dislocated unit of our school in Vranja Peč where pupils and teachers prepared a marvellous perfomance.
In the afternoon we played different sports in the gym, then we headed to Ljubljana where we had a tour of the castle.
Please respond to the following questions for the blog:
What was the most dangerous part of the Ljubljana castle?
What was the most beautiful part of the castle?
Would you like to live in this castle? Why/why not?
Before going to bed, please answer the questions and write down your impressions of this day.
