Dober vecer !
ReplyDeleteAt home after a very nice sunny sunday, we have spend good time with other teachers.
We meet all together in SOCERB(castle and the only holly cave), and after we go to the seaside to visit PIRAN (city wall, small streets, port and have a lunch in a fish restaurant). After the lunch, at 4.00pm we meet some of our pupils... and the fog too.
To finish the trip, we go to PORTOROž to eat a desert. This town is near the Croatian border, and it´s a very expensive city, like MONACO.
Two hours by car, and the home is behind us. SLOVENIA is a small country, but all we want is here : sea, mountains, cities with a history.
I can write : I feel sLOVEnia !
Hi everyone,
ReplyDeleteYesterday half naked in the snow, today barefeet in the sea...
Teachers spent a suuuunnnny day at the seadside. In fact, I think that almost all pupils were ther wuth their host family. It was nice to see them even more than once in Piran. And one of the waiters said that to his mind The whole country spent the day there. He really had plenty of work cause restaurants and cafes were full. That's normally the first sign that spring is coming - half of us rushing to the sea to catch some sunrays.
another day of sunshine an beautiful light, reflecting not on the snow but on the sea this time
ReplyDeletethere was some king of magic in the air, a smell of holidays and spring too
daydream in the typical mediterranean port of Piran, with its little streets and barocco style church which, unfortunately, could not be visited
anyway we´ll have to come back to know which one of the three old men playing chess on the main square of the town won the game today
